| Problem Identification: Isolation form Resources |
|
This painting works to provide a visual summary of the isolation that occurs in poverty. The silhouette graphics represent the separation of family structures and displacement from communities. The arrows are faced in opposing directions to create a visual divide between personal and social environments and resources. The imagery is collaged with a distressed application process to represent the barriers and erosion of self and community. The horizon line declines, suggesting regression.
